About the Role: Bachelor Mental Health Counselor: Recovery Support Services

Join North Range in supporting individuals as they transition to independent living and community integration! Our continuum of housing and support services meets diverse needs, from 24/7 staffed residences to permanent supported housing and independent living programs. Residents participate in group and recreational therapy, outpatient treatment, and benefit from housing vouchers in collaboration with federal, state, and local partners.

As a

Bachelor Mental Health Counselor , you will partner with the Program Director and other clinicians to deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions that support clients in achieving mental health and substance use recovery goals. You'll assist with assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and community partners to ensure seamless care and positive client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with utilization, quality improvement, and corporate policies and standards. Provide direct services to clients as assigned by your supervisor, including assessments, goal setting, and treatment for mental health challenges. Conduct screenings, intakes, and assessments within established timelines, utilizing the required tools and formats. Develop and update strength-based treatment plans and continuing care plans, ensuring timely referrals and discharge summaries. Assess clients' diagnoses and mental status and create individualized treatment plans to meet their needs. Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation in various settings and assess risk to ensure client safety. Collaborate with clinicians, law enforcement, external providers, and psychiatrists to deliver coordinated care. Work with clients on safety planning, symptom management, and risk education to enhance support systems and improve overall well-being. Utilize therapeutic interventions and behavioral skills training to help clients develop coping strategies, make informed decisions, and solve daily life challenges. Support and implement evidence-based practices to ensure the effectiveness of client interventions. Provide case management and connect clients to internal and external resources to support treatment goals. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field

is required. Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets insurability requirements. Successful completion of background, fingerprinting, and drug testing Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are

highly desired. Experience:

1 year of experience working with individuals with mental health challenges. Experience in coordinating behavioral health intervention plans and services with other agencies is preferred. Additional Eligibility Requirements:
