Qualifications:
Experience in early childhood education, preferably with knowledge of preschool through grade 3 curriculum and instructional practices. Familiarity with transition practices, P-3 alignment strategies, and early learning standards. Experience in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to inform programmatic decisions. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and community partners. Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives, surveys, and events. Ability to attend monthly committee meetings and participate actively in planning and implementation efforts. Interested candidates must submit a recent letter of recommendation from their content-area administrator or building administrator, recommending their participation in the committee.
Responsibilities:
Support the articulation of P-3 alignment for curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices, ensuring continuity across early childhood and early elementary grades. Develop, distribute, and analyze surveys and feedback tools for staff and families to assess transition experiences and identify areas of need. Aggregate, interpret, and report data from surveys, assessments, and classroom observations to inform transition practices and programmatic decisions. Plan and implement initiatives, events, and workshops that support student transitions and strengthen P-3 alignment, such as orientation sessions, family workshops, and teacher professional learning opportunities. Collaborate with district administrators, teachers, community partners, and families to enhance communication and resources available for students transitioning between grade levels.

Salary:
As per collective bargaining agreement (Pending Availability of Funds)
