Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize parts department performance and profitability
Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate and efficient parts ordering, receiving, and storage
Supervise and train parts department staff, providing guidance and support to achieve team goals
Create and maintain effective relationships with vendors, negotiating pricing and terms to optimize departmental performance
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of parts
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and technologies to effectively meet customer needs
Requirements
Proven experience as a Parts Director or similar role in the automotive industry
In-depth knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in computer systems and inventory management software
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
