Our Front Desk is at the core of the Cragun's hospitality and welcome our guests already experience. We are working to take the Front Desk team and build on the already great service, anticipating and meeting our guest expectations. We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. As part of our Guest Experience Team, you will have the opportunity to lead and inspire our front office staff, ensuring that every guest feels valued and welcomed.
Requirements
Collaborate with the Front Desk Manager to efficiently supervise and operate the Front Desk. Recruit, train, and mentor front desk staff, nurturing their growth and success. Provide outstanding guest service, managing registration and billing processes with professionalism and warmth. Support the Manager and Guest Experience Director in resolving guest concerns swiftly, efficiently, and with genuine care. Drive front desk revenue through effective upselling strategies. Champion compliance with departmental policies, service procedures, and hospitality standards. Ensure staff members arrive on time, in uniform, and prepared to deliver exceptional service; document tardiness or absences as needed. Coordinate staff breaks and allocate work duties to foster an efficient work environment. Attend meetings to communicate vital information and engage with Front Desk personnel. Be fully trained and able to assume Manager On Duty responsibilities when designated, showcasing your leadership skills. Maintain control and organization of master keys and key boxes. Ensure accurate room status information is communicated clearly and promptly. Update and manage group information and requirements (Express packets, meal tickets) while relaying details to the relevant Front Desk team. Maintain lead reports and proactively follow up as necessary. Uphold all cash-handling, check-cashing, and credit policies with diligence. Ensuring accuracy and integrity in all financial transactions. Ensure that all front office staff present a polished and professional appearance at all times. Embody our commitment to exceptional hospitality. Navigate all aspects of the Front Office computer system, ensuring smooth operation and timely report generation. Foster a culture where employees are always attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, management, and fellow staff. Review daily front office work and activity reports produced by Night Audit to maintain high operational standards. **Requirements**
A genuine love for interacting with people of all ages, helping families create lasting memories during their vacations. Proficiency with office equipment and environments (e.g., copiers) to facilitate daily operations. Previous supervisory experience is advantageous and will help you thrive in this role. Strong leadership and motivational skills to inspire your team. Exceptional multitasking abilities to manage various responsibilities seamlessly. Highly organized, personable, and enthusiastic individuals are encouraged to apply. Capable of tactfully and diplomatically addressing both public and staff concerns. Possess excellent business acumen and uphold high professional ethics. A strong commitment to customer service and fostering positive employee relations.
