What Youll Be Doing: Sauting a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, and more to perfection using classic techniques Following recipes to ensure consistency in flavor, presentation, and portioning Prepping ingredientschopping, slicing, marinatingto keep service running smoothly Tasting and adjusting dishes to meet our high standards before they reach the guest Coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service Keeping your station clean, organized, and ready for action Following all food safety and hygiene protocols Monitoring inventory and communicating supply needs to the chef or manager Collaborating with fellow cooks and chefs to keep the kitchen flowing Adapting to menu changes and special guest requests with ease What Were Looking For: Experience in saut cooking or line cooking in a busy kitchen Strong attention to detail and flavor Ability to work efficiently under pressure A team-oriented mindset and great communication skills Commitment to cleanliness and food safety Flexibility and a positive attitude Why Join Us? Requirements: Proven experience as a saut cook or similar role in a professional kitchen. Knowledge of saut techniques and the ability to handle various ingredients effectively. Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including saut pans, induction burners, and other tools. Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. Strong multitasking and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Team player with good communication skills. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots and pans. Education and Training: Experience through on-the-job training and apprenticeships in professional kitchen required A formal culinary education or relevant culinary certificate preferred.
