As a
Director, Solution Area - Partner Strategy
you will serve as a senior individual contributor responsible for defining and executing the partner strategy to achieve business goals for your assigned solution area (e.g., AI Business Solutions, Cloud and AI, Security). You will lead cross-segment alignment, influence go-to-market execution and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive impact at scale.
Enterprise Partner Solutions (EPS) is leading the transformation of this ecosystem to accelerate cloud growth for both partners and Microsoft. Responsibilities
Develop and lead the partner strategy for the solution area to succeed against the business goals for EPS, and ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and field execution.
Be the champion for the Solution Area in EPS, drive cross-segment collaboration across sales, marketing, and partner teams to accelerate solution adoption and customer success.
Identify market opportunities and activate key partners to deliver scalable, repeatable solutions that meet customer needs.
Monitor performance metrics and partner impact and adjust strategy to optimize outcomes.
Represent the solution area in internal and external forums, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance.
Contribute to readiness and enablement efforts to ensure partner-facing teams and partners are equipped to execute effectively.
Acquire business, competitive and execution insights to help improve Solution Play performance.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 7+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience OR equivalent experience.
Experience in AI technologies driving innovation through Agentic AI.
6+ years of experience in technology IP solutions or services development, with a understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, and emerging cloud trends like generative AI and SaaS (Software as a Service) services.
Experience with cloud technologies, with a focus on Microsoft's cloud offerings (Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365).
Experience in Microsoft business solutions (D365), Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
Experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving alignment in a matrixed environment.
Experience with Microsoft's solution areas and partner ecosystem.
Preferred qualifications
Experience working with enterprise customers and global partners.
Communication and executive engagement experience.
Strategic, analytical, and data-driven with the ability to turn insights into business impact.
Experience working with virtual teams across functions and geographies.
Partner Marketing IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
