Schedules Available: 2nd shift: 4:00pm - 2:30am, Monday - Thursday Weekend shift: 6:00am - 6:30pm, Friday - Sunday Pa Rate: $26 - $29/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and troubleshoot tooling including progressive dies, stage tooling, and short-run temporary tooling. Operate and set up coil handling equipment such as servo feeds, automatic straighteners, and cradle or reel unloaders. Perform first and last piece inspections and ensure all safety devices are properly adjusted before production starts. Monitor machine operations to identify product defects or malfunctions; perform basic maintenance and preventative care. Set up and operate secondary manufacturing or assembly equipment (e.g., tapping, countersinking, riveting). Inspect and measure finished products using precision instruments to verify quality and specifications. Accurately complete production documentation and maintain organized work areas. Train new employees on proper procedures and safety practices. Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects and maintain a safe, positive work environment. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of experience setting up progressive and/or stage tooling in mechanical punch presses (45-400 ton). Proven ability to inspect products using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Employee Benefits:
