Job Overview
ECU Health Physicians and The Department of Cardiovascular Sciences at East Carolina University u2019s Brody School of Medicine are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Physician Associate to join a well-established Structural Heart team in Greenville, NC. Applicants with at least 1 year of experience are preferred. Nurse Practitioner applicants must be certified as an ANP, FNP, ACNP or AGNP. • Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities will include admissions/discharges, consults, rounding, writing orders, preparing for procedures, H&Ps, clinic coverage with providers in addition to APP clinics, working with coordinators and nursing to answer pre and post op questions for patients/family/staff • 29 county referral network that includes 1.4 million residents ECU Health Physicians includes an academic practice model (ECU employment) and a community practice model (health system employment). There is shared leadership and shared services to support the overall group and to ensure alignment for clinical care, research, education and strategy. This innovative structure creates opportunities within ECU Health Physicians ranging from acute to ambulatory, academic practice to community practice, regional to rural, and everything in between.
