Quality Control Technician
SmartTalent is hiring a Quality Control Technician for a manufacturing company in Seattle. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire role offering $23-$33/hr. DOE. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of QC experience along with technical writing, measuring tools, blueprint reading and computer proficiency with Excel.

Schedule:
Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay:
$23-$33/hr. DOE + travel stipend for parking

As a QC Technician, you'll ensure products meet strict quality standards through inspections, testing, and documentation. Your role is critical in keeping production on track and customers satisfied.
Key responsibilities include:
• Inspect and measure incoming and in-process materials
• Document and report quality issues; collaborate with the Quality Manager
• Perform in-process checks per SOPs
• Enter and manage data in UniPoint and Syspro systems
• Test prototype and production parts, recording results with reports, photos, and videos
• Coordinate third-party lab testing when needed
• Create clear, visual reports from test data
• Verify compliance with manufacturing specs before release
• Maintain calibration schedules for inspection tools and gauges
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; UniPoint/Syspro experience a plus
• Strong technical writing skills (SOPs, test reports)
• Certificate in Metrology is a big plus
