Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to create accurate and detailed technical drawings for our new ADU construction projects.
This role demands a deep understanding of architectural drafting principles and expertise in using Revit among other drafting software. Key Responsibilities: • Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, elevations, and sections from initial design concepts. • Collaborate with project managers and design teams to grasp project specifications and objectives fully. • Participate in design meetings to offer technical expertise and help align projects with the intended design vision. • Uphold strict drafting standards to ensure all documents comply with industry regulations and client requirements. • Manage project documentation and oversee the permit submission process, ensuring all records are current and accurately reflect project changes.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field is preferred. • At least 5 years of experience in architectural drafting, particularly with residential projects. • High proficiency in Revit and familiarity with other architectural drafting software. • A strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and applicable building codes. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to function effectively within a team. Additional Requirements: • Must be willing to relocate to and work in San Diego, CA 92109.
