We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Operations Manager to join our dealership team. As a Fixed Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of our service and parts departments. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fixed operations, including service scheduling, parts inventory management, customer service, and team leadership.
Responsibilities:
Service Department Management: Oversee daily operations of the service department to ensure efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Manage service advisors, technicians, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Develop and implement processes to optimize workflow and maximize productivity. Monitor service schedules and ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance jobs. Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure prompt resolution.
Parts Department Management: Manage parts inventory, including ordering, stocking, and pricing strategies. Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and accessories. Implement strategies to minimize parts obsolescence and maximize profitability. Oversee parts sales processes and provide support to parts counter staff as needed.
Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for the service and parts departments, monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost savings. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track departmental performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with dealership management to set sales and profitability targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
Customer Service: Foster a customer-centric culture within the fixed operations departments, emphasizing the importance of quality service and customer satisfaction. Monitor customer feedback and implement initiatives to enhance the service and parts experience. Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
