Search Solution Group is seeking a
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst
on behalf of our client, a telecommunications company providing wireless communication, data, and security solutions across the United States. Their services support public safety, commercial, and industrial sectors with solutions such as two-way radios, access control, and mass notification systems. This role is critical to supporting financial strategy, business planning, and performance insights through detailed analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support both short-term and long-term business planning.
Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis, to identify key performance indicators.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for senior management and stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze operational and financial data, providing insights on performance.
Support the annual planning and budgeting process.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and complete special projects as assigned.
Requirements include:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in FP&A or a similar finance role.
Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
M&A integration experience is a plus.
Skills: Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, financial planning software, and PowerPoint; Tableau experience preferred.
Strong analytical, modeling, and forecasting skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Certifications: CPA, CFA, or related certifications preferred but not required.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial concepts, modeling techniques, and forecasting practices.
Familiarity with telecommunications industry financials is a plus.
Key Competencies: Analytical thinker with problem-solving capabilities.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex data sets.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Adaptability and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to translate financial insights into actionable business recommendations.
