Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the preconstruction process for multiple commercial construction projects. Prepare detailed cost estimates across all CSI divisions from conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction document stages. Manage and develop relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors during preconstruction phases. Perform quantity take-offs and pricing for all scopes of work. Identify and evaluate project risks and develop strategies for mitigation. Conduct constructability reviews and provide value engineering solutions. Facilitate internal project handoff from preconstruction to operations. Develop and maintain bid schedules and procurement strategies. Lead subcontractor solicitation, qualification, and bid analysis processes. Present project budgets and GMP proposals to clients in a clear and professional manner. The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. 5+ years of progressive experience in estimating and preconstruction management in commercial construction. Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, building systems, and market trends. Proficient in estimating software (such as On-Screen Takeoff, Sage Estimating, Bluebeam, or similar). Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Experience with various project delivery methods (CMAR, Design-Build, Lump Sum, etc.). Preferred Experience:

Prior experience with mid-to-large scale commercial projects (e.g., healthcare, education, mixed-use, industrial, or multifamily). Familiarity with South Florida construction market and subcontractor base. What's on Offer
