Description

Fluidra is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Jacksonville, FL.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

Manage maintenance request system and PM program, MaintainX (or similar CMMS)

Prioritize and assign the work of maintenance team.

Maintenance Technician will participate in the installation, repair, and upkeep of all facility assets, including manufacturing equipment, Overhead and other type of cranes, CNC equipment, Lathes, Robotic cutting system, pneumatic pumps, air compressors, among others.

Perform scheduled and emergency repairs of production machinery and other equipment within the facility.

Drives and participates in CI activities - processes, results, and cost savings.

Diagnose problems, and replace or repair machinery, parts, and tools.

Keep accurate records of maintenance performed on all equipment and systems.

Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.

Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

Promote safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Performs “handyman” maintenance duties such as furniture moves, aesthetic projects, light construction, and assist with janitorial functions at times.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

WHAT WE SEEK

Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial maintenance technician role or vocational/technical education in addition to prior work experience in a manufacturing environment.

Able to use/navigate computer and/or computer-based software such as PM program.

Must be experience in MaintainX or similar CMMS. (Required)

Strong experience in people leadership and program management.

Skilled in the use of hand and power tools

Ability to interpret blueprints and repair manuals.

Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.

Strong time management skills

Creative problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills.

Willing to learn CNC systems and equipment troubleshooting.

High sense of urgency and outstanding follow-through abilities

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience operating forklifts preferred.

Welding experience a plus.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent.
