Position: Accounting Assistant
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Accounting Assistant
to support our finance department with day-to-day operations. This role is perfect for someone with strong numerical skills, excellent organization, and the ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks.
Responsibilities: Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Prepare, process, and record invoices, payments, and expense reports Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy Maintain and update accounting files, ledgers, and databases Support month-end and year-end closing activities Generate basic financial reports as requested by management Assist with audits and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations Provide general administrative support to the accounting team Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support roles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
