Admissions and Marketing Coordinator Job Qualifications:
Previous experience in a SNF setting, preferred Previous experience in Admissions/Marketing preferred Knowledge of the medical field as it relates to medical terminology, diagnosis, etc. Admissions and Marketing Coordinator Job Overview:
The Admission Director position requires exceptional time management in a fast-paced environment. Time will be spent between the facility and Hospitals, depending on the current need.
Admissions and Marketing Coordinator Job Duties:
Manages and reviews all incoming referrals for acceptance or denial of admission Performs all functions and work related to the admission of the residents to the facility, including admission paperwork, pre-admission assessments and referral source development Responsible for building, tracking and reporting on volume of referrals, admissions and census, as it relates to meeting or exceeding budgeted census and premium mix goals. Responsible for managing the marketing activities for an assigned coverage area on a daily basis to include meeting with medical, insurance, legal and financial professionals, senior organizations, special interest groups, hospital staff, other community contacts, and potential residents and their families. Monitors and evaluate customer satisfaction, share results with management team to develop action plans as needed. Forward admission notification email to all leadership in facility, and appropriate financial support team members. Create admission notification document and distribute to internal team: Administrator, DON, and Nurse working the unit of new admit. Check room readiness. If any special equipment is needed, be sure these items are in the patient's room prior to admission.
