The IT Manager leads the daily operations of Exela's Information Services team, ensuring every system, device, and connection contributes to a seamless, secure, and productive user experience. This role demands both technical depth and a service mindset - blending mastery of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID with a passion for making technology "just work."

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who's current with modern cloud technologies, fluent in the Microsoft ecosystem, and relentless about improving user experience, collaboration, and reliability across the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities:

Leadership & Culture of Service Lead, mentor, and develop the Information Services team, fostering accountability, responsiveness, and continuous learning. Redefine IT as a service function - ensuring every interaction with IS delivers value, simplicity, and trust. Set and track measurable goals for uptime, service quality, and user satisfaction. Serve as the escalation point for complex issues, maintaining communication with transparency and empathy. Modern Workplace Enablement

Own and optimize the Microsoft 365 platform - including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related tools - to deliver a unified digital workspace. Manage Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) for identity, access, and security - including MFA, conditional access, and role-based policies. Oversee Intune/Endpoint Manager for device provisioning, patching, and compliance. Ensure laptops, conference rooms, and collaboration tools work seamlessly across all sites, creating an exceptional end-user experience. Partner with HR and IS Operations to deliver frictionless onboarding and offboarding experiences, from account creation to first-day readiness. Infrastructure, Cloud, & Systems

Oversee hybrid infrastructure (on-premises servers, networks, and Azure resources) with focus on uptime, performance, and scalability. Lead initiatives to modernize legacy systems and drive secure cloud adoption where it adds business value. Manage vendors and licensing for hardware, software, and cloud services. Maintain clear system documentation, lifecycle tracking, and IT asset management. Security & Compliance

Protect Exela's information assets through strong security posture, least-privilege principles, and vigilant monitoring. Partner with Compliance and QA to align systems with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity standards. Coordinate patch management, endpoint protection, and incident response. Conduct periodic risk assessments and drive continuous improvement in cybersecurity awareness and resilience. Strategy, Projects & Innovation

Collaborate with senior leadership to align IS strategy with Exela's digital transformation roadmap. Evaluate new tools and cloud capabilities that simplify workflows, reduce downtime, and improve quality of life for end users. Lead cross-functional projects - from system rollouts to process automation - ensuring minimal business disruption. Manage IT budgets responsibly, balancing innovation with cost efficiency. Required Skills:

Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, Azure, Entra ID/Active Directory, and Intune. Proven ability to manage hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud) with strong grasp of networking and identity management. Demonstrated success in service delivery leadership, end-user experience optimization, and change management. Excellent interpersonal skills - capable of translating technical issues into clear, actionable communication. Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, and project management abilities. A mindset rooted in service, simplicity, and continuous improvement. Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred). 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 2 years leading or supervising teams. Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments in regulated or manufacturing settings strongly preferred. Certifications desired: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert CompTIA Security+ or ITIL v4 Foundation
