Pay & Shift
$26-$28/hr Monday - Thursday | 2:00 PM - 1:00 AM About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Welder to perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other materials while ensuring all work meets engineering specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding according to blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications Inspect and verify weld quality to ensure compliance with UCT and industry standards Operate welding equipment, grinders, and other fabrication tools safely and effectively Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, fitting, and cleaning parts Maintain welding equipment and perform minor troubleshooting or repairs Collaborate with warehouse, fabrication, and quality teams to meet production goals Follow all safety standards, PPE requirements, and proper material handling procedures Complete documentation and record-keeping related to welds, inspections, and work orders Support continuous improvement by suggesting process and workflow enhancements Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year TIG welding experience Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols Strong knowledge of welding techniques, safety practices, and quality standards Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Familiarity with material handling and fabrication tools (saws, grinders, clamps, etc.) Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines Able to lift up to 50 lbs
