A Brief Overview

Working as a member of the Joint Venture Equity Team within the Real Estate Investments Division, the candidate will contribute to the growth and management of an equity portfolio with current investments totaling over $1B across 65 (and growing) real estate investments. Responsibilities primarily include assisting the acquisitions and underwriting team on front-end analytical evaluations, inspections, and due diligence on new joint venture equity real estate investments.

What you will do

Provide front-end analytical evaluations for joint venture equity investment opportunities across multiple product types (industrial, apartments, retail, and office) and investment strategy types (core plus, value-add, and development) across the U.S. Assist senior staff to make investment recommendations and effectively communicate their opinion, prepare and present investment committee presentations. Collect and organize market and submarket data to track and forecast market trends in: rents, sales, cap rates, construction costs, economic conditions, and supply and demand Perform property and market inspections, as needed; and assist senior staff to perform acquisition due diligence; evaluate debt financing alternatives and review lender term sheets; prepare investment committee decks, and present recommendations at investment committee meetings. When necessary, assist the Asset and Portfolio Management Team in asset monitoring, collection of monthly and quarterly General Partner deliverables, financial statement modeling and analysis of asset performance, data analysis and internal management reporting Assure quality information reaches laterally between the acquisition team and Asset Management, including valuation inputs and other relevant information. Work with the Operations team and RGA's internal and external legal counsel to ensure that partnership and related documents are processed, and new investments are closed as approved Education and Experience Required

Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Finance, Real Estate, or Business Applicable Real Estate Investment Internship Preferred

1+ Years Commercial Real Estate experience Familiarity with Argus preferred CCIM MAI CPM Skills and Abilities

Required

Financial Modeling in Excel Knowledge of commercial real estate investment underwriting processes Knowledge of real estate terminology, concepts, practices, and procedures. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Ability to work independently, take initiative and succeed within a team environment. Oral and written communication skills. Investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills. Adaptable to changing environment, workflow and deadlines. Ability to balance priorities and deadlines with the need to deliver high-quality work. Ability to convert business needs and problems into value-add solutions. Compensation Range: $65,050.00 - $92,400.00 Annual

Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
