Job Title: TIG Welder

Job Description

Join an established company specializing in the engineering, design, and manufacturing of modular process systems for the pharmaceutical, biotech, and food industries. As a TIG Welder, you will contribute to the creation of custom modular systems using stainless steel, serving both domestic and international clients.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and occasionally on carbon.

Execute fitting and welding duties, including pipe, tube, and frame welds.

Work with material thickness ranging from 14 to 8G, possibly from 3/4 inch to 18g.

Engage in various custom work projects.

Read and interpret blueprints and utilize hand and power tools effectively.

Essential Skills

5 years of TIG welding and fabricating experience.

Proficiency in reading blueprints.

Experience with stainless steel welding.

Skills in grinding, assembly, fitting, and fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1 year of experience in grinding and polishing welds.

Welding technology degree.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with no weekend shifts. There may be up to 5 hours of overtime. The shop is very clean, organized, and custom, employing a total of 70 people with 35 in the welding department.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Atkinson, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
