Structural Steel Project Manager / Project Coordinator
to join our growing leadership team. We are a Southern California-based structural steel fabrication and erection company dedicated to integrity, quality, and innovation.
Our ideal candidate is a strong communicator, field-savvy, and highly capable of managing and coordinating commercial and industrial steel projects from award to closeout. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate projects from pre-construction through erection, including buyout, scheduling, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and billing. Support project documentation, material tracking, and communication between field, shop, vendors, and general contractors. Ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards. Interpret engineering drawings and ensure compliance with AISC and AWS codes. Conduct job walks, manage installation schedules, and help resolve field conflicts. Attend project meetings and represent TSEC with professionalism and integrity. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, connection details, and erection plans. Familiarity with fabrication processes, field sequencing, and safety protocols. Working knowledge of AISC specifications and local building codes. Proficiency in MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar project software tools. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
