Warehouse General Manager

The Warehouse General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations and financial performance of the warehouse. This includes strategic leadership and direction for all warehouse activities related to shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory management. The role requires setting clear objectives, developing strategies, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a high-performance work environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction while leading and developing warehouse staff to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and coordinate all warehouse operations to ensure efficient use of space, labor, and equipment.
  • Implement and monitor operational procedures for receiving, storing, verifying, and shipping materials.
  • Ensure products and supplies are received, stored, and shipped efficiently and accurately.
  • Evaluate the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment; initiate maintenance or replacement as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Production, Sales, Purchasing, and Records Control) to ensure smooth coordination of activities.
  • Safeguard warehouse assets and inventory against loss or damage.
  • Manage inventory levels, review distribution documents, and oversee the handling of damaged or returned goods.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff; conduct performance reviews and recommend promotions or corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT and other regulatory standards.
  • Oversee transportation activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and performance standards.
  • Continuously monitor warehouse operations to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective measures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience within the wholesale food industry.
  • Strong Chinese language proficiency (spoken and written) required.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Warehouse Supervisor

About the Opportunity:

  • The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This position plays a key role in coordinating workflow, supervising warehouse associates, and ensuring that all activities are carried out safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager and other departments to maintain smooth operations, support company goals, and ensure timely order fulfillment while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and inventory control.
  • Coordinate the work schedule and assign tasks to warehouse associates to ensure optimal labor utilization and productivity.
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits; assist with discrepancy resolution.
  • Enforce safety standards and proper material-handling procedures in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as needed to support team operations.
  • Train, coach, and motivate warehouse employees to achieve performance targets and maintain high morale.
  • Assist in maintaining warehouse equipment and facility cleanliness to support operational efficiency and safety.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with departments such as Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Track and report daily productivity, shipping accuracy, and inventory metrics to management.
  • Support the Warehouse Manager in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Handle damaged or returned goods in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse supervisory or lead experience; food distribution or wholesale food industry experience preferred.
  • Strong Chinese language proficiency (spoken and written) preferred or required.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and safety.
