Job Description:

Infintium Fuel Cell Systems, Inc. is developing next generation fuel cell system solutions to power material handling vehicles in the Greenville, SC area. We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Technician who will be responsible for making sure that our assembly and commissioning processes are executed properly. As we are a small production team, the successful candidate must be capable of setting and meeting goals reliably, with limited oversight. This role is perfect for a candidate looking to gain additional hands-on experience in a start-up manufacturing environment. You will also be responsible for product documentation that clearly communicates operational procedures, expected system outputs and troubleshooting/diagnostics methods.

Primary Job Functions:

  • Develop and maintain all work instructions for all fuel cell classes.
  • Commission all units during production (software, visual checks, functional checks, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot fuel cell function as applicable during commissioning.
  • Participate in cross-functional problem-solving processes.
  • Maintain floor layouts.
  • Bring continued improvements to the production floor for process output improvement.
  • Monitor production assembly and subassembly processes for adherence to work instructions.
  • Work with Engineering to improve assembly processes and final design builds.
  • Assist production with unit builds as needed.
Support Job Functions:
  • Support with warranty analysis and troubleshooting on serviceable units.
  • Provide technical service support to customers as needed - as a collaboration with the service department.
  • Assist the service team in testing, troubleshooting, and correcting all units returned to Infintium for analysis/rework.
Requirements / qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher degree.
  • High school degree or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing related field.
  • Mechanical aptitude and Electrical aptitude are desired.

    Experience with troubleshooting circuits

    Experience with CAN networks or other communication protocols.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with engineering and quality. teams as well as all levels of management and external customers.
  • Accuracy in handling detailed information/data.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Ability using SolidWorks (1+ years) or similar CAD program.
