Central Operations Specialist
to become a critical part of our team. Please contact us today to discuss this opportunity! Job Responsibilities Provide prompt, efficient and accurate service in processing requests. Perform back-office functions including, but not limited to, researching and resolving adjustments and chargebacks, exception items, processing or reviewing account maintenance requests, travel notifications or stop payments, and performing GL and other account balancing. Receive and process incoming and outgoing wire transfer requests; complete wire transfer end of day review. Respond to client research requests for account records. Perform daily review of large debits and resolve daily suspected fraud alerts. Process and resolve any client claims related to debit card, check, or ACH fraud. Receive and process deposit related legal orders or account levies. Prepare, review, and process a variety of operations reports related to banking transactions such as Nonpost, NSF/OD, ACH/IAT, etc. Provide Tier 1 troubleshooting and support for Online Banking and Cash Management users. Regularly update and maintain procedures related to primary job responsibilities with the support of the Central Operations and Administration Manager. Provide support for Cash Management and Branch Operations as needed. Prepares correspondence to clients using knowledge of Bank products and Bank policy. Resolve client inquiries while maintaining contact with client through telephone or written communication. Requirements: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or 5 years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of a financial institution clerical and/or branch and back office support background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related. At least two years of experience in performing back-office banking functions, plus experience in banking branch operations preferred. A high level of client service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively throughout the Bank and to represent the Bank positively to current and potential clients. A thorough knowledge of the Bank’s operations processes and the Bank’s products and services. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and employ reasonable judgement in managing workload and various isolated situations. Ability to operate standard office equipment, including basic knowledge in computers and general office productivity software such as Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge and compliance of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and related regulations. Attendance and successful completion of all ongoing mandatory BSA and OFAC training required for this position.
