Senior Healthcare Associate at Pride Health

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Denver, CO 80220. This is a 3‑4 month assignment (possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top‑tier healthcare organization!

Duration: 03‑04 months Contract (possibility of extension)

Shift: Monday‑Friday 9 am‑5 pm / lunch 12:30 pm‑1 pm

Pay rate: $24‑25/hr on W2. Pay rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Base pay range

$24.00/hr – $25.00/hr

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and professional environment.
  • Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
  • Verify patient demographic info / initials and ensure accurate labeling of tubes with patient signature post‑venipuncture.
  • Maintain required records and documentation.
  • Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Job Requirements

  • Provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Work independently with minimal on‑site supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including paediatric and geriatric.
  • Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime.
  • Committed to all policies & procedures including company dress code, employee health & safety, and everyday excellence guiding principles.
  • Make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
  • Have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record.
  • Travel and flexible hours required to cover multiple locations with minimal notice.
  • Handle multiple priorities in a high‑volume setting.
  • Demonstrate superior customer focus and ability to communicate openly with peers, supervisors, and patients.
  • Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Requires certification in California, Nevada, and Washington (where applicable).

Work Experience

  • Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Minimum 2 years in a patient service center environment preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience working as a phlebotomist.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
