Electronics Hardware Engineer II
The Electronics Hardware Engineer II will be part of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering team responsible for developing high-power electronic hardware for aviation applications. This role involves contributing across all stages of product development—from concept through certification and production.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and certify high-voltage electronic hardware for aviation applications (DO-254 & DO-160G).
- Perform circuit, board, and system-level design, integration, and testing.
- Use simulation and PCB design tools (Altium, LTspice, Matlab/Simulink).
- Develop and execute test plans for inverters, motor controllers, and HV battery systems.
- Document designs, lifecycle data, and test results in accordance with aerospace standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Power Engineering (or related).
- 3+ years of experience designing and testing high-voltage or power electronics systems.
- Knowledge of MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC devices, and EMI/DC‑DC converter design.
- Experience with hardware certification, EMI/EMC compliance, and safety standards.
- (Bonus) Aerospace or EV systems experience, and familiarity with DO-160G / ISO26262.
