Process - video interviews with multiple people

Industry - Consumer goods, large company, publicly traded, about 3000 employees

Hours - full time

Location - Hybrid (2 days per week onsite in New Bedford, MA)

Background - Criminal check & 5 panel drug screen (includes marijuana)

Why Open - Busy / extra help in their New Bedford plants.

Must haves:

Preferred:

Recruiter (contract) with manufacturing and/or distribution experience.

10 to 20 permanent hires per month (volume can vary)
Manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, quality techs, machinists, electricians, CNC operators, millwrights, team leaders & managers.
Multiple openings of the same jobs
Different shifts (1st, 2nd & 3rd)
Can partner with hiring managers.
Can work effectively with our staffing agency providers

Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a manufacturing and/or distribution setting.
Experience sourcing qualified candidates
Able to proactively network and establish effective working relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Effective time management skills. Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with the ability to carry heavy requisition loads.
Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information appropriately.
Strong computer skills and experience with candidate databases/talent acquisition systems.
Experience working with staffing agencies / vendors
