What You Will Do
- Responsible for developing various internal cybersecurity focused web applications to realize and grow our service offering.
- Partner with product architects in resolving technical matters associated with our product and related service offerings.
- Provide daily operational support and maintenance for one or more products needed to deliver the team’s service offerings.
- Interface with internal process partners and vendor support staff to resolve technical issues attributed to products supported by the team.
- Execute development driven by agile user stories and features for supported products.
- Achieve sprint efficiency and deliver milestone goals.
- Perform testing during development processes and QA prior to production deployment.
What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Security Engineering/Architecture, Computer Science, or comparable experience.
- Programming and scripting: Proficiency in languages like Python, Java, and C++, as well as scripting languages like JavaScript.
- Security foundations: Strong understanding of security and networking fundamentals, cryptography, and access management.
- Application security: Deep knowledge of web application security, including common vulnerabilities and protection techniques.
- Software development lifecycle (SDLC): Familiarity with secure development practices throughout the entire SDLC.
- Security tools and automation: Experience with security tools, monitoring, logging, and implementing security automation.
- Risk management: Ability to identify and manage security risks and assess digital risk levels.
Top Candidates Will Have
- One or more professional certification(s) from an accredited institution (CISSP, CCSP, GWEB, Linux, Python, CISSP, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Caterpillar Cyber Security Policies and Directives
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
Additional Information
- This position is on-site five days a week.
Summary Pay Range
$87,480.00 - $131,280.00
