The Restaurant Manager oversees daily operations of FOH and BOH functions, maintaining company standards, driving customer experience, and leading our staff. All new managers complete an extensive Manager in Training (MIT) program designed to prepare them for top‑tier leadership within the Outback family.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the success of restaurant operations: FOH & BOH.
  • Lead and mentor a team, creating an enjoyable work environment.
  • Optimize profit through labor control, food & beverage cost management, and proper ordering and inventory practices.
  • Maintain compliance with policies & procedures and uphold service standards.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction while upholding quality standards.
  • Drive business growth through sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Recruit new talent for future staff openings.
  • Ensure safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation during shifts.
  • Maintain impeccable presentation of each dish and overall restaurant appearance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of management experience in a restaurant supporting 50+ staff, preferably full‑service.
  • Proven success in a leadership role.
  • Flexibility to work at other regional locations as needed.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • For California positions: Responsible Beverage Service certifications (can be completed during training, up to 60 days after start date).
