Ultrasound Technologist - Breast Imaging (Full Time) $99k - $120k - Unionized Job $15k Sign on Bonus! Day shift, Monday - Friday Boston, MA

Join our dedicated Breast Imaging team as an Ultrasound Technologist, where you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and compassionate patient care. Working under the general supervision of the Ultrasound Manager and Lead Technologist, you'll generate diagnostic sonographic images for radiologists and support the department's mission of excellence in patient care. The department requires 24/7 coverage, and staff may occasionally be required to work overtime or cover shifts outside their regular schedule.

Key Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams to support accurate diagnosis and departmental workflow. Assist physicians during invasive procedures (biopsies, aspirations, intraoperative exams, etc.). Prepare exam rooms and equipment in alignment with infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout exams while delivering clear instructions and compassionate care. Collaborate with radiologists and staff to capture appropriate views, provide additional imaging as needed, and deliver quality scans. Advocate for patients during interdisciplinary meetings to ensure appropriate care and safe discharge planning. Maintain equipment, ensure cleanliness of exam rooms, and follow all disinfection policies and procedures. Operate electronic systems such as PACS, RIS, and Epic for accurate documentation and workflow. Support the hospital's values, patient-centered mission, and RESPECT behavioral standards. Qualifications: Associate's degree or certificate program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (required). Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) (OB, AB, or RVT). Accreditation must be attained prior to hire, except for OB/GYN (one year allowed to obtain). Must meet hospital/state requirements. Prior clinical ultrasound experience preferred.
