Description

At Apple, we combine product management/development and product marketing responsibilities into a single, cross functional Product Management role that collaborates with design, engineering, finance, legal, marketing communications, public relations, market research, sales and support for maximum impact across the organization. We are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager to focus on an emerging space in Families and Parental Controls!

Minimum Qualifications

6+ years experience in product marketing and/or product management roles, including at least one entire product development cycle from concept to launch

Hands-on experience formulating product messaging and creating outbound marketing for both technical and consumer audiences, and/or partnering with engineering during early research and development to define product strategy and roadmap, and with marketing and public relations to craft positioning, and define marketing activities

Recent experience within the last 3 years in one or more of the following software segments: parental controls, screen time, trust and safety, managing consumer user accounts, regulatory impact to products, or adjacent

Ability to drive communication with key stakeholders, the media, and public, as demonstrated by exceptional presentation skills: developing keynote addresses in an area of deep subject matter expertise, synthesizing information, applying critical thinking and maintaining composure under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

Deep understanding of the Families and Parental Controls domain

Best-in-class oral and written communication skills; the ability to become fluent in technical concepts and explain to non-technical partners

Strong ability to lead through influence, debate and storytelling

Exceptional interpersonal skills; thrives in highly collaborative projects, effective at building consensus, handles high stakes decisions with ease, with the ability to cut through ambiguity

Strong analytical abilities and an uncompromising attention to detail with the ability to operate seamlessly between highly detailed and technical situations and strategic business situations

A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities

Press and media experience with success as a product spokesperson on a national or global level

Willingness to travel

BS/BA and/or MBA

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
