Job Description:
*Required Skills Strong knowledge of data management and data governance frameworks, metadata, and quality management.
Experience with data cataloging and governance tools (e.g., Alation UDC, Bigeye).
Experience and skills in the Report Certification Process (RCP) and Data and Information Sharing (ISA /DSLA),
Experience in data lineage, MDM, and reference data practices.
Familiarity in Stewardship Training, Change Management & Reporting
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/DevOps environments.
Strong communication skills for training, documentation, and stakeholder management.
Prior lead experience and leading an offshore team.
Hands-on experience with report certification and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, SAS, etc.) is a plus.
Job Description
Lead a team of 5 to 8 offshore members on data management and data governance services
Engage with client stakeholders on work in progress and lead the delivery
Needs to be on top of the whole delivery and hands-on in providing the data management and data governance services
Support Data Quality & Metadata Management by maintaining data dictionaries, business glossaries, and ensuring consistent metadata standards.
Assist in Data and Information Sharing (ISA/DSLA) processes to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Manage Data Assets & ADS (Authoritative Data Sources) through cataloging, ownership tracking, and lifecycle oversight.
Facilitate the Report Certification Process (RCP) to validate reporting accuracy and certify dashboards/reports against governance standards.
Support Risk & Controls Execution, ensuring compliance with data governance controls and audits.
Contribute to Stewardship Training, Change Management & Reporting by preparing documentation, training materials, and governance dashboards.
Collaborate with Reference Data & Master Data Management (MDM) teams to improve data consistency across systems.
Monitor and track data incidents, escalating issues, and supporting root cause analysis.
Partner with agile squads (DPOs, Scrum Masters, BI/Analytics teams) to ensure data governance integration into delivery pipelines.
Provide support in analytics, reporting, and visualization by applying governance policies to BI tools
