The
GMP Unit Director
will be the on-site leader for our organization at the location. This is a client-facing role. Role requires extremely strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
Responsible for the overall management of services provided under the customer agreement to a Business & Industry client. Ensures compliance with all provisions of the client contract and with regulatory agency policies and procedures. Responsible for successfully coordinating and supporting all contracted services at the operation, including ultimate financial responsibility. Works with all levels of the facility staff in all matters relating to the cleanliness of the facility. Ensures safety requirements are consistently adhered to.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieve Budget/Financial Responsibilities Manages and tracks all financial reports, site inspections and period evaluations with customer. Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of financial data and statistics. Controls expenses within area of responsibility. Maintain stock of clean room and janitorial supplies, equipment. Develops and recommends department operating budget and ensures that department operates within budget. Completes Operating reports, payroll, purchasing, work orders
Customer Relations Customer Liaison- Ensures client expectations are met Measure client/customer satisfaction and implement action plans for opportunity areas Monitor to ensure compliance with provisions of client contract. Demonstrates effective communication and problem solving skills. Takes solution oriented approach to client concerns and on site challenges.
Operational Excellence
Reviews customer Standard Demonstrates exemplary leadership and commitment to meeting performance plans. Acts as a positive role model; proactive in the achievement of operation goals and objectives. Participates and adds value to committees, meetings, activities (i.e. Infection Control/Safety Committee) Coordinates housekeeping and/or janitorial activities with other departments. Provides recommendations for replacement of materials resources as appropriate keeping OSHA standards in mind. Maintains an environment that is in sanitary, attractive and in orderly condition. Understands and develops the Quality Assurance Process throughout the facility. Demonstrates competence in interviewing candidates for openings and proper hiring practices. Demonstrates knowledge of EEO policy. Promotes company culture, values and management philosophy.
People Management Coaches management and hourly associates. Encourages and nurtures associate creativity and innovation. Develops and maintains performance appraisals for team on a timely and accurate basis. Encourage team to participate in additional training, education, and/or self development. Maintains a harassment free environment with good employee morale by demonstrating good employee relations practices and HR consultation when needed.
Education, Training and Experience:
Required- High School Diploma, GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
