Responsibilities
Diagnoses and resolves problems on lining and assembly machines
Follows safety standards while working on lining and assembly machines. Reports any safety concerns immediately to shift supervisor
ensures quality standards are met as established for lined and assembled parts
Pulls tooling and sets new tooling
Performs start-up procedure, including line clearance
Performs preventitive maintenance on lining and assembly machines on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis
Provides support by directing the work of machine attendants
Maintains proper documentation of all lining and assembly materials and machines
Maintains direct involvement with molding, quality, and maintenance
Qualifications
Basic math skills
Able to use basic hand tools
Troubleshooting abilities
Work in a manufacturing environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk or hear; and use hands to handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders
