Description ORAL BOARD INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2025 JOB SUMMARY Perform administrative work of considerable difficulty in the planning, directing, and coordinating activities of a designated program or division to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished. This is a supervisory position working under general direction. Positions at this level have as a primary responsibility planning, assigning, and reviewing work of a group of employees, as well as selecting, training, and disciplining individual employees.

TYPICAL CLASSIFICATION ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Confer with department personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems. Confer with staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. Determine feasibility of initiating new programs and expanding existing programs. Develop and implement procedures and operations. Direct and coordinate activities of department personnel. Establish work plan and staffing. Supervise staff as assigned. Review projects or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. Prepare reports for management, client, or others. Coordinate activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies. Negotiate and respond to grants and contracts. Prepare and process federal and state grant application for funding. Manage and oversee programs, plans, and studies. Coordinate and facilitate committee meetings and public outreach events and activities. Review status reports prepared by personnel and modify schedules or plans as required. Respond to inquiries or complaints from customer, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Analyze departmental financial or project data and make recommendations. Arrange for recruitment or assignment of personnel. Maintain absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, customer records, and restricted County information. Perform other related duties as required. PCSO TYPICAL CLASSIFICATION ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Organizes, develops, and implements the countywide addressing/re-addressing system in accordance with county ordinances and in coordination with other agencies and entities. Maintains the Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) system which consists of address ranges connected to emergency services districts and enables the correct responders (law, fire and ems), resident name, phone number, and location to appear on the 9-1-1 screen when an emergency call is activated. Utilizes the Comtech Insights DDTi MCS Manager to make additions/changes to the MSAG, so addresses are included in the NG9-1-1 System. Add premise alerts, medical alerts, home alone and lock box information to the dispatch CAD system to ensure safety of responding units and to ensure the safety of the residence. Works closely with GIS specialists (state and local) to ensure that the ALI Database is synchronized with the 9-1-1 Geodatabase. Receives and resolves address and 9-1-1 call routing error reports from the PSAPs, and coordinates updates to the ALI Database due to annexations and incorporation. Travel to address location to perform visual assessments as necessary due to lack of address documentation. Provide 9-1-1 recordings to the records department that are requested by the public or county attorney's office. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:

Associate's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Statistics, or a closely related field. Two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative work experience. Valid Arizona State Driver's License may be required. Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience may substitute for the minimum requirements.

K nowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of criminal justice, geography, and database management. Knowledge of maintaining a NG91-1- MSAG via a proprietary database. Knowledge of Computer Aided Dispatch system. Knowledge of Pinal County jurisdictions, including primary and secondary Public Safety Answering Points. Knowledge of APCO and NENA NG9-1-1 standards. Knowledge of guidelines, regulations, and statutes affecting the department. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate-level skills. Skill in navigating various permitting databases to interpret property records and parcel data to research address information. Skill in interpreting legal descriptions and maps in order to verify jurisdiction. Skill in the ability to organize and prioritize work to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Skill in analyzing and interpreting ANI/ALI call information. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the community. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is sedentary, requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. The work also requires the ability to finger, reach, perform repetitive motion, hear, speak, and demonstrate mental and visual acuity.
