The salary range for this position is $18-$20 an hour
This is a part time position with a potential future full time position.
Job Responsibilities
Adhere to all agency, local, state, and federal policies and regulations Develop effective job coaching and employment plans Communicate with clients to understand their goals and ambitions Assist participants with identifying and overcoming barriers to employment success Assess the strengths of individuals and teach them to use them effectively Guide individuals in learning the skills needed to complete job tasks Help in the development of motivation and self-confidence Provide coaching related to job search skills Provide on-the-job coaching supports for participants Assist people with disabilities in developing social and independent living skills Advise on workplace accommodations for people with disabilities Monitor and evaluate progress of program participants Keep records and maintain documentation Thoroughly prepare appropriate reports in a timely manner Requirements
Proven experience as job coach Experience working with people with disabilities Experience developing and implementing employment plans Ability to adhere to regulations and standards Working knowledge of MS Office Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving ability Advocate for diversity and inclusion Ability to inspire and motivate High school diploma; bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus Mass transit travel is required Mission
