Job Description
ASHLIN Management Group is seeking a Qlik Developer / Data Integration Developer to join our data analytics team. This professional will support the design, development, and delivery of dashboards and integrated data solutions for federal clients. The role involves building Qlik Sense applications, consolidating data from multiple systems, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective visualizations and insights.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Qlik Sense (cloud and on-premise environments). Design and implement data models within Qlik to support efficient queries and performance at scale. Build ETL scripts for data integration, transformation, and cleansing from varied sources (databases, APIs, flat files). Collaborate with clients and project teams to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements. Perform ongoing data quality assessments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain trusted data sources. Optimize dashboard performance, ensuring fast load times and responsive user experience. Document data pipelines, data models, and application architecture for sustainment and knowledge transfer. Support client training and adoption through walkthroughs, user guides, and demos. Continually improve end-to-end processes of data collection, transformation, analysis, and reporting. Other duties as assigned in support of client delivery. Qualifications
To be successful in this position, the Qlik Developer / Data Integration Developer must have:
A minimum of 3 years' experience with Qlik Sense or similar BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Strong skills in data integration and transformation, including Qlik scripting, SQL, or equivalent ETL tools. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets into actionable insights and effective dashboards. Proficiency with data modeling best practices (star schema, incremental loads, mapping tables). Experience optimizing performance in large or complex dashboards. Strong oral/written communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage sensitive client data responsibly. Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented. Highly Desirable
Qlik Certification Experience with federal data systems or large-scale enterprise data environments. Knowledge of APIs, JSON, and REST-based integrations. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Prior experience training end-users or creating reusable dashboard templates. Top Clearance Position Requirements
At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. US Citizenship or Permanent Residency, authorized to work in the US.
