We are currently seeking a Full-Time

Apartment Maintenance Technician , to join the High Associates team for

Village Green, located in Elizabethtown, PA.

The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for the completion of technical building maintenance and emergency repairs as required by service requests submitted by all appropriate tenants and/or owners. They will also perform preventative maintenance assignments as scheduled.

This is a Full-Time opportunity with the following schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with participation in a rotating on-call schedule *Receive additional pay when on call*

Responsibilities of our Maintenance Techs:

Responsible for completion of minor building maintenance duties to various properties owned and leased by High Associates, Ltd. This would include service requests which are required for preparation of unit turnover in addition to routine maintenance calls of a non-technical nature. Repair and maintenance requests would involve items related to general carpentry, drywall repair, painting, minor electrical work and routine plumbing and appliance repair. Would require general working knowledge of all parts and inventory use in the day to day operation of properties leased in order to requisition supplies. Maintain inventory records of parts and material as well as logs of routine maintenance. Inspect buildings and apartments, informs supervisor of maintenance needs and assists in planning and completion of preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. Perform maintenance on exterior grounds which could include duties such as lawn, shrubbery care in addition to flower bed plantings and maintenance. Follows all safety, truck operations or other rules and regulations relative to the safety and well-being of the property, co-workers and residents always. Maintains equipment, storage and work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Participation in on-call rotation, responding to calls from three of our properties: Village Green, Barrcrest, and Stonecreek Court. Any additional responsibilities are deemed necessary to meet the owner’s goals and objectives. Experience, Training, and or Education Required:

A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) A valid driver’s license Approximately 3 to 12 months of directly related experience in general building maintenance and grounds experience Working knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical work, & appliance repair. Flexibility to work a scheduled on-call rotation * Receive additional pay when on call! Preferred Qualifications:

An EPA or HVAC certification is a plus but not required. Working for The High Companies:
