Job Summary

Executes daily stockroom logistics: receiving, fulfillment, cylinder exchanges, LN₂/CO₂ support, labeling, inventory updates, customer service, and 5S safety/organization. Performs accurate data entry in the inventory system and communicates delivery status to users.

Responsibilities

Logistics Coordinator, II

·

Daily Operations & Logistics (45%) – Open/close procedures, order fulfillment (walk-up/phone/email), receiving, condition documentation, and internal notifications. Fill/deliver LN₂ and CO₂ according to established schedules; support cylinder exchanges; handle ALSCO deliveries.

Inventory Execution (30%) – Labeling/stickering, locationing, cycle counts, expiration checks, inventory adjustments per SOP . Data entry for dry-ice/LN₂ sales and receiving logs (admin handles billing).

Customer Service (15%) – Provide assistance for faculty/students; troubleshoot routine stockroom questions; communicate order and delivery status.

Safety & Organization (10%) – Maintain 5S, housekeeping, and compliance with cryogenic/compressed gas procedures and shipping/receiving training.

Requires at least 1 year of related experience.

This is an Intermediate Level position in the Support track.

Minimum Qualifications

EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT :

1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).

Logistics Coordinator, II:

Requires at least 1 year of related experience.

Preferences

Research university or laboratory stockroom experience.

Familiarity with cryogenic liquids and cylinder handling.

Exposure to Lean/5S organizational principles.
