Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure within an industrial environment. This role ensures optimal operation of mechanical systems and supports facility upkeep through a variety of technical tasks.
Shift: Monday - Friday -7:00am -3:30pm
Overtime as needed
Pay: $30-$35/hr depends of experience
?? Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections and performance tests on machinery and equipment
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues; perform necessary repairs or part replacements
Disassemble malfunctioning equipment and install new or refurbished components
Clean and lubricate mechanical parts including shafts, bearings, and gears
Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components
Repair and maintain facility structures and fixtures
Perform welding tasks using stainless and carbon steel
Troubleshoot automated systems including robotics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
Operate fabrication equipment to repair parts
Carry out general facility maintenance including light plumbing, painting, and fixture installation/removal
Perform minor electrical diagnostics and repairs
Safely operate forklifts and other industrial vehicles
Follow detailed instructions and comply with safety, quality, and company standards
Special occasion travel to other locations to assist maintenance
?? Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma or GED required
2-4 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic or Electrician, or equivalent education and experience
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, industrial electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Proficiency in welding, machine operation, and automated system maintenance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
