❄ Level 2 Commercial HVAC Service Technician
Charlottesville, VA $26.00-$30.00/hour (Based on Experience) Full-Time | Commercial HVAC Service Work
Position Overview:
We're hiring a skilled
Level 2 Commercial HVAC Service Technician
to service, maintain, and repair a wide range of commercial HVAC systems. This role is ideal for a technician looking to build on their existing experience, grow their technical knowledge, and contribute to a team dedicated to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Be Doing: Service and maintain HVAC systems including:
DX equipment
up to 100 tons Water-cooled packaged units , water-source heat pumps Gas-fired and electric heating systems
(up to 100 tons) Computer room units
with humidifiers and self-contained controls Air-handling equipment , including
VAV systems
Perform basic maintenance on
atmospheric gas-fired hot water boilers Troubleshoot and maintain
low-voltage control systems (24V to 10V) Understand and work with
pneumatic, electronic, and DDC control systems Conduct general maintenance on
chilled and hot water piping systems Operate safely, follow procedures, and communicate issues effectively Qualifications: 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience High school diploma, GED, or trade school graduate Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification Gas Fitters Card (Type I and Universal) Valid driver's license with clean driving record Understanding of
single and three-phase electrical systems Willingness to travel to job sites (occasional overnight stays may be required) Ideal Candidate Traits: Strong foundation in commercial HVAC Eagerness to develop and grow professionally Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction Team player with a solutions-focused mindset Why Join the Team?
