Core Duties & Responsibilities: Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components and assemblies using visual checks and precision measuring tools (micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.). Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions to ensure product conformity. Complete and maintain documentation including First Article Inspections (FAI), inspection records, and non-conformance reports. Assist with internal audits and quality assurance activities in line with
ISO 9001 ,
IATF 16949 , and
AS9102
standards. Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) efforts. Conduct gage R&R studies, capability studies, and maintain inspection records. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve quality processes and drive continuous improvement. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace in accordance with
5S and Lean Manufacturing
principles. Qualifications:
Associate degree in a technical field preferred OR High School diploma/GED with 3+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong working knowledge of
blueprint reading and GD&T . Familiarity with
ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9102 , and related quality systems. Proficiency with basic inspection tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Experience with
First Article Inspection ,
PPAP , and
gauge studies
is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Multiple Shifts Available:
Shift 1:
5:30 AM - 4 PM, Monday - Thursday (10-Hour Shifts, 4-Days Per Week)
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 an Hour (Based on Experience, Interview, Etc.)
