Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital Emergency Department is one of only 3 Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Centers in New York State and has the regions highest number of board-certified physicians in emergency medicine and pediatrics. Across all campuses, our nurses collaborate with paramedics, physicians and others to use induced hypothermia to digital radiology and other novel techniques. As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you’ll assume responsibility for unit operations including patient flow, scheduling, education and leadership to a dynamic staff, bringing quality across all aspects of patient care. You'll foster safety, quality and compassion to help advance our uniquely family-oriented approach. The start time for this position will be 7pm and the schedule for this position will typically be alternating 3 (12.5 hours shifts) days and 4 days (3 10-hour shifts & 1 7.5-hour shift) per week, 2 full weekend shift a month, can be Saturdays or Sundays. This position is located at New York Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. Preferred Criteria Master's degree Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department Required Criteria Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Minimum of 2 years of acute ED clinical experience Current New York State registration to practice nursing Demonstrated leadership competencies Previous clinical expertise within the Emergency Department Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
