The IT Senior Project Manager for the AMI 2.0 Program will lead critical pre‑planning and system integrator engagement activities for a major Advanced Metering Infrastructure initiative. Candidates may reside outside of CA and work fully remote; however, if local to Los Angeles, Riverside, Orange, and San Bernardino Counties, onsite will be hybrid with 2 days in the office. Responsibilities
Large‑scale IT program/project management in utilities or regulated industries. AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) experience: AMI 1.0 or 2.0 preferred (at minimum some 1.0 exposure). Understanding of meter‑to‑cash process end‑to‑end. Experience with system integrations (MDMS, head‑end systems, OMS, SAP, ADMS). Major data conversion projects (millions of records). Cloud migration/implementation experience (moving from on‑prem to cloud). Broad IT infrastructure knowledge – ability to see the “big picture” and ensure no gaps in delivery. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, computer science, or other business‑related discipline (including liberal arts majors). Experience with utility technology needs, including strategic objectives and areas of investment focus. Experience delivering/developing technical information to a non‑technical audience as well as to senior leadership. Experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning or strategy/management consulting. Experience managing large IT programs, resource planning, solution blueprinting, implementation planning, and overall end‑to‑end delivery management. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional leadership. Familiarity with AMI, smart grid, or large electric utility technology and infrastructure projects. Strong blend of business insight and technical proficiency to bridge the gap between stakeholder needs and technological solutions. Benefits

Salary range for this position is $244,000 - $270,000. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment. Work Environment
