How You'll Make an Impact

Create and execute technical product marketing and support activities designed to ensure complete customer satisfaction of Atlas Copco’s advanced assembly tools, controllers and associated software.

Maintain expert status in all technical aspects of products of responsibility

Assist the ACTA organization with quality, delivery, and pre-sale technical support matters for all products of responsibility

Work with Sales to provide high-level technical assistance to customers in pre-sale activities, such as product presentations, seminars, and demonstrations

Be able to connect principles related to assembly tools and technology with customer needs and opportunities related to Industry 4.0 concepts

Gather product development needs and drive collaboration with the product company

Develop training material, including but not limited to audio and video formats

Support the creation of product-related marketing content, as required

Work with pertinent personnel to drive the necessary actions to resolve product quality issues until closure

Work with pertinent personnel to execute product and software validation activities prior to customer implementation

Develop action plans, communications, resources, and scheduling to complete tasks on time

Work with multiple departments within the company in a professional, positive, and constructive way in effort to improve the overall ACTA organization

Be able to communicate effectively internally and with all levels of customers

Travel domestically to customers as required to support execution of the above activities (approx. 30% travel can be expected)

To Succeed You Will Need

Bachelor’s degree from a university, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial or Software Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science (or related discipline)

2+ years of related industry experience and/or training

Deep understanding of networking, wireless communication, and associated technologies

Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes

Understanding of concepts related to torque tools, fastening theory and plant floor communication devices

Ability to interpret technical specifications, analyze challenges in assembly processes, develop solutions to address customer needs, clearly express solutions verbally and in writing

Ability to effectively interface with personnel at all levels

Analytical and self-starter

Must possess adequate and fluent computer skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

Ability to deliver effective presentations to a wide range of audiences, from internal sales to external customer plant and/or tech center personnel
