How You’ll Make An Impact
Develop and maintain standardized component requirements across global projects
Collaborate with engineering teams to unify material specifications
Define and drive material standardization for specifications and sizes
Clarify global test methods for critical quality parameters
Provide technical expertise to sourcing teams for supplier evaluation
Support negotiations on technical requirements with suppliers
Act as a technical guide for project teams on component engineering
Stay current with advancements in component technologies and materials
Your Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Material Science, Engineering, Metallurgy, or Chemical Engineering (Ph.D. with 2–3 years of experience also considered)
Minimum 5 years of industry experience
Experience in transformer industry and supplier technology development preferred
Strong knowledge of component engineering and material specifications
Familiarity with SAP S/4Hana and Windchill is a plus
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
