Job Purpose The purpose of this role is to assist in building a capable and scalable process technology organization to relentlessly drive, through exceptional engineering, the competitive technical advantage of fairlife manufacturing to provide the best tasting, most nutritious products at lowest cost and highest barrier to entry for competitors.

Responsibilities

Creating a safety and quality culture required for a world class organization.

Defining the objectives of capacity expansion projects and overseeing total process design from milk receiving to product on a pallet.

Assisting in the developing and commercializing of new technologies and processes to improve quality, efficiency, and speed to market.

New line/plant design basis (mass balance, SKU mix, process flow diagram, PID’s).

Review new and existing line/plant designs to reduce food safety risk and improve overall efficiency and cost of operations.

Support the review and updating of functional specifications related to new processing equipment.

Ensure best practices, design principles, standards are incorporated, and support design reviews with suitable stakeholders.

Continuously develop milk production process monitoring and situational awareness systems to enhance efficiency and reduce losses.

Solving complex process problems following escalation from plants; managing the process of escalation to ensure timely resolution.

Define and maintain design standards, mass balance and scheduling tools to improve accuracy and efficiency of design.

Assure plant compliance with Federal, State and Corporate environmental laws, rules & regulations.

Assure compliance with FDA regulations, PMO and other regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures.

Collaborate and coordinate with Project Engineering to ensure work is performed on time and within budget.

Key role in supporting the organization for the commercialization of new products.

Key decision maker in equipment vendor selection and contract negotiation.

Skills / Qualifications Required

Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

Supply Chain Management expertise in CPG.

7+ years in the dairy or beverage industry.

Ability to develop mass balance calculations and process flow diagrams.

Self‑starter; take charge, positive & proactive attitude.

Ability to communicate clearly within the organization and externally.

Demonstrable teamwork and maturity with a strong work ethic.

Experience in Process, Packaging and Plant Engineering.

Strong leadership skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead & develop people in a high‑pressure environment.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.

Familiarity with validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ), sanitary design, clean‑in‑place (CIP), and sterilization‑in‑place (SIP) procedures.

Proficiency in CAD software, engineering analysis tools, and CMMS.

Working knowledge of ERP, MRP, MES, SCADA, and business analytics.

Food Safety Requirements

Notify management of any repairs or adjustments that may affect product quality or food safety.

Perform all duties necessary to meet company, customer and/or government requirements/standards.

Initiate action to prevent nonconformities related to food safety and quality.

Identify and record problems related to food safety and the quality of ingredients, processes, and systems.

Base Pay Range:

$90,000—$130,000 USD
