As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to maintain a secure environment at a government location by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible to help deter security‑related incidents. You will interact with the public, support access control measures, and provide exceptional customer service.

Job Schedule Day: Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies and guidelines, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the business and its perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security‑related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors and employees with security‑related inquiries and directions as needed.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help deter unwanted behavior.
Support Allied Universal leadership and local law enforcement during incidents or emergencies.
Minimum Requirements
A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Experience with x‑ray screening is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
