Electrical Engineer - Tyndall AFB Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. – Panama City, FL

Salary Base pay range: $120,000.00/hr – $135,000.00/hr

Responsibilities

Provides professional electrical engineering and construction management support; serves as the organizational subject matter expert on standards and practices for electrical engineering designs, system components, installations, and system construction, including primary power generation and distribution infrastructure, commercial and industrial electrical systems, and residential electrical systems.

Participates in design reviews and provides comments on contractor submittals of electrical designs and plans.

Provides quality assurance oversight, documents such oversight, and recommends corrective actions.

Performs on‑site inspections of contractor’s work.

Provides safety oversight, documents such oversight, and directs corrective actions.

Assists in interpreting and enforcing contractual provisions regarding contractor electrical requirements and deliverables.

Documents and provides reports regarding contractor progress toward accomplishing contractual scopes of work and recommends authorization of progress payments.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizen required; must pass a federal background review and drug screen.

Current Professional Engineer license.

Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an electrical engineer on large complex multimillion‑dollar federal construction projects (Department of Defense preferred).

Experience with Resident Management System (RMS) preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Office.

Experience working at federal facilities including buildings, airfield facilities, and electrical power stations.
