Job Description We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead on-site construction activities and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be supported by a dedicated Project Manager and Field Support Staff to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules, including recovery plans to address potential delays.

Provide strong on-site leadership and overall management of construction activities for assigned projects.

Coordinate and supervise all phases of construction, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.

Maintain active oversight of job site personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to project timelines and expectations.

Monitor progress and proactively address constructability challenges to maintain momentum and avoid delays.

Ensure quality workmanship that aligns with architectural plans, technical specifications, and client expectations.

Review and interpret blueprints and detailed specifications to guide daily operations and field direction.

Maintain a thorough understanding of project scope, contract requirements, and job-specific documentation.

Assist with project financials, including support for budgeting, cost tracking, and change order management.

Collaborate closely with the pre-construction team during the estimating process, contributing insights on methodology, systems, scheduling, and site logistics.

Execute and manage final punch list activities to ensure timely project closeout and client satisfaction.

Represent the company professionally on-site and foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and accountability.

Consistently apply initiative to complete tasks in line with company standards, safety protocols, and established deadlines.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus.

Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in the construction industry, including at least 3 years in a Superintendent or equivalent leadership role.

Strong working knowledge of residential construction practices, codes, sequencing, safety protocols, and quality control standards.

Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural plans, blueprints, specifications, contracts, and change orders.

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant construction software.

Detail-oriented with the ability to document and communicate clearly and legibly.

Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance required.

Experience with complex or large-scale projects is a plus.

Demonstrates a strong leadership style with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach.
